About Me

I've lived here all my life, and believe a community as great as this one deserves a government that works for them.

My Story

I've been a lifelong resident of WNC. I grew up in neighboring Polk County, and I have always loved living here. The scenery, the people, and the deep sense of community that living here brings have always kept me coming back.

After I graduated high school, I went to NC State, where I graduated at the top of my class with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. I didn't see myself living in a city — I wanted to move back to the place I called home my whole life. After a bit of effort, I found a remote job and bought a home in Rutherford County soon after. I've lived here ever since, and the more I've lived here, the more I believe that we can make this an even better place to live, work, and play.

Why I'm Running

I’m running because we have so many opportunities to improve the place that we all call home, and we are leaving too many of those opportunities on the table. I want to ensure that we are bringing every possible opportunity to the county, whether that be for housing, jobs, or education.

Why I Can Do the Job

I believe that my passion for this county, and my problem-solving skillset makes me the best pick for County Commissioner. We need a leader in government who will listen to and advocate for the people they serve while seeking solutions to the problems we all face.
